Proving that You Qualify for Military Parole in Place
In order to receive parole in place status, you’ll have to prove that you qualify for it. To do this, you’ll have to submit a lot of information to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), including some information you may have some trouble getting or filling out. For example, you’d have to fill out and submit Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, and submit your service records, including DD Form 214, Report of Separation.
Other information you may have to submit includes:
- Evidence of your relationship to the servicemember, such as a marriage certificate or your child’s birth certificate
- Passport-style photographs
- Evidence that the servicemember supports your stay in the U.S.
