To qualify for a Green Card, you must be eligible under one of the following categories, per the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS):
- Family immigration: If you are an immediate relative of a United States citizen, such as a spouse or child under 21, a relative of a lawful permanent resident (LPR), the fiancé(e) of a U.S. citizen, a widow(er) of a U.S. citizen, or qualify under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

- Registry: If you have resided in the United States continuously since before January 1, 1972.
